Balsamic Grilled Asparagus


  • Olive oil
  • 1 pound of fresh asparagus
  • 1 tablespoon of balsamic
  • Sea salt to taste


  1. Trim asparagus tips
  2. Add them to pan and fill the bottom with water only covering about 1/4 of the asparagus
  3. Cover and bring to a boil
  4. Once boiling reduce heat and simmer for 2 min
  5. Heat grill pan to medium heat and lightly spray or brush with olive oil
  6. Grill both sides of the asparagus for 2-3 minutes
  7. Transfer to plate and drizzle with balsamic
  8. Just before serving sprinkle with sea salt
