- 15 Joe Joe sandwich cookies from Trader Joe’s (double chocolate or your preference)
- 1 10 ounce bag of white chocolate chips
- 3 tablespoons of milk chocolate chips
- Lollipop sticks(local craft store)
- White curling ribbon
- Parchment paper
- Baking sheet
- Optional:
- Plastic squeeze bottle
- Styrofoam for standing ghost
- Black paper filler
- Halloween bucket or pail
Instructions
- Melt white chocolate with double boiler
- Open each cookie placing the lollipop stick in the cream filling and close the cookie back together
- Dip each cookie into the melted white chocolate and allow excess to drip off before transferring to baking sheet lines with parchment paper
- Melt milk chocolate either in double boiler or microwave adding 1/2 teaspoon of canola oil if desired (helps smooth out chocolate so its easier to work with)
- Either using a plastic squeeze bottle or a lollipop stick dipped in the chocolate make Ghost face, draw to circles for the eyes and an oval for the mouth
- Place aside to cool or to speed up the process place in freezer
- Curl ribbon and cut even pieces, tie two pieces of ribbon for each pop
- Place in styrofoam to display or store till ready to eat
