My most requested Gnocchi recipe ever. Change up your typical weekly pasta dish and give gnocchi a try. Ham and Pea Gnocchi is an incredible meal that will excite the entire family.

What is Gnocchi
Gnocchi is made from potatoes and has a unique doughy texture. Sometimes gnocchi is confused for pasta, which it is not. Gnocchi has the texture of an airy light potato dumpling. It’s the perfect combination of soft dough in bite size pieces. I’ve recently been in search of an easy recipe that was infused with an abundance of flavor, this is it!
The best cheese to pair with gnocchi
A blend of two different cheeses always enhances any dish. Thinking of my favorite Bacon Mac n’ Cheese and how the parmesan romano blend went so well with the gruyere cheese I just knew it would elevate this dish. So, technically this is a three cheese dish and trust me, you’re going to love it. Pair the delicious ham and pea gnocchi with a side of buttery dripping Homemade Garlic Bread for a perfect meal.

Made this for dinner tonight… this is delicious and was easy to make! I love how cheesy it is too. Keep it up with the awesome recipes, Trina! 🙂
Thank you Rosalyn!!!
I’m not sure what I did wrong (I didn’t overcook) but this resulted in the gnocchi becoming total mush. Flavours were still great though I might use a more robust pasta next time. I added mushrooms and spinach for a few extra veg for the family
Hmmmm….maybe less cook to time on that specific type of gnocchi?
