How to make IP Creamy Tomato Pasta
This no fuss pasta recipe is (honestly) the best instant pot pasta recipe. Start by adding the penne noodles, chicken stock, cream into the pot. Now, take a spoon and press the pasta down gently, making sure all the noodles are submerged in the liquid. Next pour on top of the noodles your favorite marinara sauce and do not stir! Add your spices on top of the sauce and close the lid. Next, set the instant pot to 5 minutes on high pressure. Immediately, when the timer runs out do a quick release, leaving the keep warm setting on. After removing the lid you will see a very soupy mixture, you’re not done. The lovely pasta will need to cook for 8-10 more minutes on the warm setting. Every couple of minute give it a stir to encourage even cooking and allowing the sauce to soak into the noodles.
Suggested Marinara Sauce
You may use any pasta sauce that your heart desires, but we’re highly recommending RAO’s Roasted Garlic Sauce.

Description
Incredibly easy and delicious Instant Pot Creamy Tomato Pasta comes together in just under 30 minutes! This specific recipe is for a 6 or 8 quart Instant Pot. Bon Appetit!
Ingredients
16 ounces penne pasta
2 1/2 cups chicken broth
2 1/2 cups heavy cream
2 cups marinara sauce
1.5 teaspoons garlic powder
1.5 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon salt
1/4–1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
Optional- garnish with fresh basil and grated parmesan
Instructions
Place the pasta noodles into the liner of Instant Pot
Pour over the noodles the chicken stock and heavy cream
Gently press noodles down to ensure they are covered by the liquid
Pour in the marinara and DON’T STIR
Top with garlic powder, dried basil, salt and red peppers flakes, DON’T STIR
Close the lid and cook on high for 5 minutes
Immediately after the timer goes off do a quick release of the vent, leaving the keep warm setting on
Open the lid and stir the very saucy mixture
Continue to cook the pasta on the keep warm setting for 8-10 minutes, stirring the pasta every couple minutes to encourage even cooking and allowing the sauce to soak into the noodles
Adjust seasoning if needed and top with optional fresh basil and grated parmesan
Serve immediately and enjoy!
