The Best Instant Pot fettuccine Alfredo


The BEST Instant Pot Fettuccine Alfredo has a luscious and velvety cream sauce that is sure to excite your pallet!



4 tablespoons unsalted butter, cubed

4 garlic cloves, minced

1 3/4 cups chicken broth or stock

1 1/2 cups of heavy cream

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon pepper

8 ounces fettuccine noodles

1 cup parmesan cheese, grated

Optional- fresh chopped parsley to garnish


Place the cubed butter and garlic into the instant pot

Pour in the chicken broth, heavy cream, salt and pepper

Break the fettuccine noodles in half and layer the noodles into the Instant Pot

Gently press down the noodles with a spoon to submerge as much of the noodles into the liquid

Place the lid on the Instant Pot and seal the vent

cook on high pressure for 6 minutes and once the timer goes off do a natural release for 5 minutes

Make sure to have the keep warm setting on

Once 5 minutes has passed vent the remaining steam and remove the lid

Give the noodles a good stir (It will look a bit soupy but don’t fret we’re not done)

Add the parmesan and stir

Allow the noodles to cook on warm setting for additional 2-5 minutes or until sauce absorbs into the noodle and desired consistency is achieved

Top with chopped parsley and serve immediately
