This simple and elegant Mushroom Gravy can be poured over anything your heart desires.
Some things just go well together, like my toddler and nap time, wine and cheese, bacon and almost everything! Here I’m combining gravy with mushrooms to elevate a perfect side into a phenomenal side. The hint of thyme helps to really pull all the flavors in this wonderful gravy together. My favorite way to serve this Mushroom Gravy is over perfect turkey meatloaf with a side of garlic mashed potatoes, another perfect pairing.
The recipe makes enough gravy for about one pound of meat, you can easily double this recipe if needed.
