Ingredients

- 2.5 tablespoons of butter
- 10 ounces baby bella mushrooms sliced
- Pinch of salt and pepper
- 2.5 tablespoons flour
- 2 cups chicken stock or beef stock (vegetarian friendly recipe by using vegetable stock)
- 1/4 – 1/2 teaspoon of fresh chopped thyme
Instructions
- In medium sauce pan heat butter over medium heat till it starts to bubble
- Stir in mushrooms and add pinch of salt
- Simmer mushrooms on medium low heat for about 10- 15 minutes or until liquid is evaporated
- Stir in the flour continuously stirring and cook for about 5 minutes
- Very slowly add in the stock while mixing thoroughly
- Add pinch of pepper and fresh thyme
- Simmer on low for 15 minutes
- Serve immediately
