Healthy Pina Colada Smoothie


  • 1 Banana (for a sweeter smoothie use slightly ripened)
  • 3 Tablespoons unsweetened finely shredded coconut
  • 3/4 cup frozen pineapple tidbits
  • 1/2 cup coconut water (or water)
  • 1/2 cup crushed ice cubes
  • (Optional: 1 teaspoon chai seeds or ground flax seeds)
  • ***Special note*** If using frozen bananas omit the ice and increase coconut water to 3/4 cup


  1. Place all ingredients into the blender
  2. Mix until smooth consistency
  3. Special Note: This is a thicker smoothie, if you have trouble getting your smoothie to blend add 1 tablespoon at a time of extra water or coconut water
