Why you’ll love Trader Joe’s Frozen Hash Browns
While hunting for the best Trader Joe’s frozen food, my family immediately fell in love with shredded potato hash browns. They are in the frozen section and are a convenient breakfast staple in our home. Many attempts to buy pre packaged hash brown resulted in potatoes that were mushy and greasy. Not these delicious shreds of crispy potato perfection.
How to cook frozen Hash Browns
The trick is to use canola oil and cook in a large non stick frying pan. Once the oil is heated through add your hash browns to the pan and lightly press down. Very important, do not touch the hash browns for about 8-10 minutes on medium high heat. Once you have achieved a deep golden color you may flip the hash browns over and cook for another 6-8 minutes on the other side.
