Trader Joe’s frozen potstickers are fully cooked and ready to heat and serve. Included are instructions for Pan fry, steam and microwave.
Trader Joe’s Gyoza Potstickers (chicken or pork)
Olive oil (for pan fry or air fry method)
Green onion and soy sauce for serving (optional)
Pan Fry: Preheat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a non stick skillet. Add frozen potstickers seam side up. Sautee over medium to high heat for 4 minutes or until light golden brown color. Add 4 tablespoons of water, reduce the heat to medium and cover with lid. Cook until bottoms are slightly sticky and a golden brown color.
Pan Fry option 2: Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium high heat. Place the potstickers seam side up and cook until deep golden brown. Turn on each side cooking untill heated through and golden color all over.
Steam: Place the potstickers seam side up in a steamer basket or double boiler over boiling water. Cover and steam for 7-10 minutes.
Microwave: Don’t do it.
Serve immediately and garnish with green onion and soy sauce.
