Grilled Chicken Marinade Recipe


  • 1.5 pounds of chicken breast or thighs
  • 1/3 cup olive oil or canola oil
  • 1.52 lemons squeezed
  • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 2 garlic cloves pressed or minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Pepper


  1. In small bowl combine all the ingredients for the marinade
  2. Halve the chicken breast horizontally or skip this step if using thighs
  3. Place chicken in large zip lock bag and pour over marinade
  4. Refrigerate a minimum of 3 hours and max of 8 hours
  5. Grill on medium heat about 4-5 minutes per side or until no longer pink in middle
