Recipe makes 3 round 9 inch waffles


  • 6 tart apples peeled and shredded (I recommend Honey Crisp Apples)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 eggs, whisked
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 6 tablespoons flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1.5 teaspoons cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt
  • Canola oil baking spray
  • Toppings: Whipped cream (Fresh or premade can), cinnamon, caramel apple dip


  1. Preheat waffle maker to medium low
  2. Take your peeled and shredded apples and with your clean hands strain of excess juice
  3. Add apple to large mixing bowl
  4. Add to bowl your lemon juice, whisked eggs, vanilla, brown sugar, flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt
  5. Mix with fork or spoon until combined well
  6. Spray preheated waffle maker with canola baking spray
  7. Add 1/3 mixture to the waffle maker pressing it down evenly
  8. Cook the apple mixture until golden brown
  9. Remove using fork and spatula, lifting gently onto a plate
  10. Top with whip cream, cinnamon and caramel sauce
  11. Serve and most importantly, ENJOY
