Roasted Green Beans

This is hands down one of the best ways to enjoy green beans. To make Oven Roasted Green Beans simply toss them with olive oil, garlic, salt and pepper for the perfect side dish.

We love to pair these delicious green beans with Lasagna and chicken, but honestly they go with almost everything.

Why Roasted Green Beans are the best

There are endless possibilities when roasting vegetables. Roasted green beans are one of our favorites and will add a delicious crunch to any meal. Warning once these are tossed in olive oil and seasoned they taste amazing prior to cooking as well. Personally, always having little hands stealing them off the pan makes me wonder if there will be enough come dinner time. This is a family favorite and easy side dish for everyone to enjoy.

How to make Oven Roasted Green Beans

Simply snap or trim the ends of the green beans. You may store them in a bowl or zip lock bag and refrigerate until ready to cook. Then, when it’s time to roast this scrumptious vegetable, toss them with olive oil, salt, pepper and garlic powder. Add them to your baking pan and cook at 400F for 18-20 minutes. You can modify the cooking time for your desired texture. We love our green beans cooked until they have a nice crunch, but also a slight caramelization to them.

Ingredients

Green beans

Olive oil

Garlic powder

Salt and pepper


Instructions

Preheat oven to 400F

Trim or snap the ends of the green beans

Lightly drizzle the green beans with olive oil

Add desire amount of salt, pepper, garlic powder and toss

Bake on a non stick baking pan for 18-20 minutes and serve immediately
